Default Max Speed In 4wheel ?

I don't see anything in the owners manual about max speed in 4x4. It's a 03 2500.

I don't think there really is one...unless you are in 4LO, then it would be about 10-15km/h? IDK, maybe someone else can chime in...Dirty? Weed? Hammer?

they make an AWD ram without a 2wd option. But I think 60 is about right. But you dont really wanna go around with 4wd on dry pavement if you dont have to because it can wear components faster

Also, CVs are funny if you were slipping and one front tire caught dry pavement good.

As fast as you want to go on a slippery surface. Dealer said 100 km/h in 4HI (60mph)

the front ends are always locked in so there wouldnt be any difference in 2wd or 4wd as for top speed

no "max speed" for 4wd just a max speed for engagement of 4wd

but as others have said i wouldn't recommend driving fast on slick roads (except when your "yah-hooing" in the back 40 lol)

4 wheel drive doesn't mean 4 wheel stop lol

Thanks. Winters been hell here this year and there's been times when I'm driving that I think I think I should just leave it in 4hi. We're out in the country and the gravel roads have been covered in ice since mid November.
