I wonder if you have a short happening inside your multifunction switch when your keyless is operated as it operates the wiperblades as well.
Do the wiper happen if your doing any lane changes or flashing highbeams or anything involved with touching the multifunction lever?
I would think that is the easiest fix, but you could also have issue's with your relay box(underside gets corroded) or your Cluster wiring could be loose in the back(doubtful)

It only happened the one time but if dodge reviews are any indication, I will see it again. I love the dodge and really love the Hemi however I think Dodge has to work on the little things that always seem to have issues like wiring, switches and sensors.

I tried to download the service manual but.... Do I have to be a member of the file sharing site??? I couldn't seem to download it. Hmm.

My wipers will go on all by them selfs, mostly when I open the truck door, or put the key in the ignition. Then they will wipe 3.5 times and stop in the middle of the window. The delay wiper function doesn't work either.

Im betting you have some issues in the contacts of the wiper switches

I was thinking something with the automatic wipers, but the '05s probably didn't have that. It does sound like the MFS is being cranky.
