Default A little problem

Wondering if someone could shed some light on this for me. The fuse for my cigarette light keeps blowing out. I've looked at the wires(as far as I can see) and I can't seem to find any breaks. Anyone have any ideas?

You can download the service manual from the links below and see what all is on the fused circuit. If yuo do not have anything plugged into the cig lighter does it blow then? If so, if you disconnect the cig lighter does it still blow?

It blows as soon as I plug in the lighter, or if I plug in a car adapter(ie cell phone charger). As soon as it makes contact with something, it blows the fuse.

Well if you take those same things and plug them up in another car or truck do they still blow? I would think you either have some bad items you are plugging up or your cig lighter itself is defective.

Nothing happens until you plug things up so thats where the issue lies

Good points...the fuse is the correct one. My cell phone car adapter works in my wife's van just fine...I'm thinking a broken wire is grounding it out?
