IDK of any other way short of swapping out the PCM.

update: ok after getting a diagnostic tool to see my preformance data ive been watching my voltages and of the last two days ive only seen it go up to 14.9 and 15.0 twice. all other times it stays normal. with testing the diodes on the alternator how do i do that?

Im not sure how you would test with something other than a oscilloscope. Maybe you could just pick up a new alt, try it out and if it doesnt work then take it back?

i think im gonna take it to pasco's they should be able to do a comprehensive alt test. any body have any issues using pasco?

Did you check for AC voltage? This will show a bad or leaking diode.

ok got the alt checked again and all is fine, since i have no stereo at the moment i have a pair of computer speakers plugged in usb in a dc port and im using my phone. now when i plug in my phone to charge in a dc to usb connector into the other port the "ghost sound" comes back and this time i got a recording of it
