Default Jerking and Whining on tight turns..

First off I wanna apologize as this is my first dodge. I just bought this truck yesterday.. Its a 2002 Ram 1500 4.7 Magnum 4x4.. The issue is that when I turn tight mostly or even not so tight but more rare.. the truck jerks and is accompanied by a creepy sounding whine.. Ive had it taken in and lubed.. Is this common in this pickup? I tried searching the forums and seen people have had the jerking but havnt seen anyone mention the squealing or whine its making.. Any suggestions would be appreciated.. Jon

Have you checked the power steering fluid level?

Power Steering is filled.. Yeah it doesnt do it in 2WD, I just took it out since all the snow is melting here in Iowa.. Should it make that whine though? Ive driven jeeps that Jerk but nothing near as violent and with no noise with it.

If it doesnt do it in 2wd and it barks at you while cutting the wheel hard in 4wd, then your cutting the wheel to dang hard.
If there's a whining noise while your cutting the wheel hard in 4wd, that could just be your R&P since your straining the life out of it regardless of the fluid level.

If it jumps/bangs in 2wd while cutting the wheel hard, then the rear lsd could be culprit if you have one?

You "had it lubed" is that topping off the fluids or completely replacing the front diff fluid and transfercase completely?

Thanks for the help.. Im just new to this.. Truck looks almost identicle to the one in your pic.. Anyways..Im Satisfied if its just the binding in 4wd.. just wanted to make sure it wasnt something that causes serious concern... Ive took the intake off and cleaned the throttle body along with a few other things because its kind of sluggish so that helped a little bit with that.. Anyways.. Thank you for all the help..

I didnt see where the OP said it was the front tire? Maybe a fluid level issue in the diff or a LSD additive issue (or lack thereof) maybe?
