tru dual concerns
great forum everyone!
first mod of the basic 3: exhaust, chip, air
read all relevent posts and think i'd be ok to run tru dual on my 06 1500 hemi after the stock cats/sensors. read a post on torque sacrifice if exhaust is too open. would that be an issue with x pipe and 2 individual mufflers? chambered or free flow?

I've never done a 100% true dual. My grandfather and uncle were lifelong mechanics and did some pretty high end builds in the '70s and '80s. They taught me to always use an "H" or "X" to equalize the pressure.
My 2nd Gen Ram I did with an "H" pipe and two mufflers (no cats). My 3rd Gen, I've gone with long tube headers, retained the cats (although they are moved back to accommodate the headers) and am dual right back to a short custom "Y" right at my SI/DO muffler...
