Default No Brake/Reverse Lights. See what you think!

Like the title says, I have no brake/reverse lights. I have been battling this issue for about 6 months. For awhile, they were shotty. Now they are completely gone. Bulbs are good btw. All this started after hooking up a crappy trailer.

Thought it was the trailer, but the lights worked. Tried my tow harness, and its good. Unhook my truck, and the brake/reverse doesnt work, but the running lights do. No lamp out, no codes, no other lights are having trouble. Sometimes I get just the driver side reverse to light up.

Remember this is an 07, so TIPM module. No separate fuse for the brake lights, and the running ones wouldnt work anyway. All fuses are good. I am stumped, tried a ton, resets, unhooking lights, etc. Someone posted this: http://dodgeram.info/tsb/2006/08-021-06.htm

read it and see what you think. I am dumbfounded by the TIPM module and really dont know what to think. Obviously I need this fixed. I dont have time for 2 weeks to take it to Dodge

Had the same problem on my '02 several years ago. Dealship replaced the computer saying it had corrosion in it. Was a common problem (so I was told) at the time and the loss on lights was the first sign of it.

I am assuming you do not have a tuner? If so then please scan the DTC with the tuner. If not then please go by a auto parts store and let then scan it and write down the codes.

Do you know if it was a CANBUS scanner? I mean, you have a CEL/MIL light on while driving right?

I would look through the Service Manual and look in the IC section and see what it says about doing that IC check and what all info would be provided on the LCD screen. Something doesnt make sense there.
