Coolant question.
I have a 2003 1500 QC with a 5.7 Hemi.
I need to add coolant, as I have a small leak from one of the radiator plastic tank seams.
This is my 2nd radiator in this truck with this fault ARGHHH!!
Anyhow, I find that the original MOPAR HOAT coolant that was an amber/beer colour, seems to have been superceeded by a flourescent red/pink colour variety. It's NOT a manly colour for a truck lol

Both these coolaants state MOPAR 100 thousand mile/5year, have the part number of MS-9769 on the 5 litre plastic bottles and are HOAT.
What gives??
I don't want to mix these coolants if they are not compatable?
The stealership that I bought this new colour coolant from says, I "Should be" OK??
I know that there are a lot of clued up people on here so I'm asking, is it ok to mix these different coloured coolants?
Help???
Al.

Yeah, I've changed my opinion on HOAT. It's so hard to get, and damn expensive. This spring I'll do a good flush of the HOAT and just go with something decent like Prestone.
If the new bottle says HOAT on it, and you got it from a dealer, I'd feel fine using it. The color is a dye anyways, and really related to the contents. Dodge may have change the color to make it more visible.
