Rear end noise

Default Rear end noise

Rear end just started making a grinding noise at low speed. Have 45,000 miles on "06". Any ideas?????????

All great info. I would say get out there and check the oil level but thats preventive maintenance type stuff. If you are hearing noises then you are past PM type work and now in repair mode. Go pull the cover, drain the oil, clean it all out and inspect everything carefully including the clutch pack retaining clips (C clips) that hammer spoke about.
