Default Bad Caliper?

I have a 04 Ram Hemi 1500. Last week it started pulling to the right nonstop even while braking. I'm thinking the left caliper might be frozen or locked up. It is also pulsating. Am I on the right track? Also if I need to replace the caliper do I need a scan tool to bleed the system. Thanks in advance

Maybe, Jack it up and see if the wheel moves freely... Could also be a flex line.

You could take and drive it a little and see if the wheel feels hot after you drive it

My thinking is that the left side caliper doesnt have any compression at all. If it did would some of the pull even out while braking?

Not necessarily I had a caliper sticking before while the other worked just fine and it pulled a lil while driving and under braking it would dive and really pull to the one side

A stuck caliper would pull different under braking. I'm thinking wheel bearing? Spin the wheel, if its tough to spin, brakes. If it grinds, bearing. If neither of these, I'd get alignment checked.

If it turns out not to be the brake/caliper, it could be the tires. After 6 years and 24K my tires started to cup bad. You could look across the top of the tire and see it bulged out in spots. It would shimmy and pull to the left prety bad. New tires fixed that.

While you are under the truck be sure to check the boots on the BJs and tie rods and check all of them for play also.

Turns out both of the front tires are badly warped. I rotated the front to the back for now till I can get new ones. The pull is gone. I liked it better when it was a bearing or caliper...cheaper. Thanks for the help guys. Much appreciated!
