Default Residue in Oil Filler Tube

Hey guys i have a problem and was wondering if you could let me know what was going on with my motor. About 2 months ago when i did my first oil change i took the oil filler cap off and noticed a foul smelling yellowish white residue that was all in the oil intake tube. I wiped it all out and went on with the oil change thinking it may have been just bad oil or something from before. Well about 2 weeks ago i went to do a basic checkup on the truck and it was there again, i will post pictures of it and maybe y'all can let me know what might be causing it or whats going on.

Usually it is just moisture or condensation buildup. Its "normal" under certain circumstances.

Condensation buildup can be eliminated by running Mobil oil. Does not have to be synthetic. I found that out back in 1997 when I was running Chevy. Auto parts store told me to run Mobil oils and I have never ran anything else since.

Agreed, not accurate info. Any oil will do it. A LOT of guys here run Mob1 and still get it. Its not the oil but rather the conditions of driving and weather conditions that usually make it happen.

I thought that was caused by too short of trips and the motor not getting hot enough to burn off the moisture in the block. Short trips cause that the most. Mine does not do it since I drive further to work and back. Seems to take at least 10 miles of highway driving for these motors to make enough heat to disapate the moisture.. Bad PVC valve used to be the root cause in OLD style motors but these new ones it is hard to figure what causes what anymore..
