Well you have got to give A LOT more info than what you are doing. The way you are saying what you said leads me to believe you do not already have a 5.7

But unfortunately IDK what year truck you have or what engine you have. Engine swaps have been done but usually not cheap or for the faint of heart.

Trans are physically the same. You'd need the the engine with all accessories, pcm, exhaust manifolds, wiring harness, engine mounts, AC hoses, radiator hoses, throttle, etc. Do a search and you'll find a few threads with some good info.

Agreed. T-Muns has it right. There are some guys who have done this swap before. If you want talk to dabig47 over on DT

He just did this swap not too long ago.

You can also try to go through some of his threads

Hey guys

It was either Extreme 4x4, Muscle Car or Trucking on Spike TV a few weeks ago who did a 5.7 swap into something and they got the whole motor with all accessories and computer and all for like $3-3500 do a search. I may do this waaayyyy down the road if I don't do some inturnal mods to my "Brandie". Keep us posted. H-
