Intermittent Stalling During first 5-10 minutes
The stalling appears to have subsided. I've been unsuccessful in getting the truck to stall the past week! I'll bet it's due to the warmer climate.
In terms of codes, when I went to the auto parts store, the P0731 code (gear 1 incorrect ratio) came up. I doubt this has anything to do with the stalling. However, I will wait till the truck stalls again (I have a feeling this will be next winter) before I replace the EGR valve or the front O2 sensors. The CEL never came on.
One thing I will do however is invest in a scanner so I don't have to bother the guys at the auto parts store everytime something comes up, especially when not buying any parts. I wouldn't feel so bad if there was a fee for the service.

ok, I got myself a scanner and verified that the P0731 code was still present. I erased the code (the scanner has an erase button on it), and the past couple of days, it hasn't come back. I was ready to replace the two speed sensors near the back of the transmission, however if the code don't come back, no sense buying the parts even though speed sensors are fairly cheap. I'll wait till I know for sure that I have a problem.
I also haven't been able to get my truck to stall like it did when the climate was colder. I'll bet everything will resurface come next winter.
