Default 2008 Ram 1500 Rear Window Help

I just bought a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 yesterday. The only defect is the rear window, seems like the track it runs on is broken and can slide open by hand. Does anyone know if there is some kind of locking piece that will keep it shut?
Or any other advice besides going to the dealer would be appreciated.

Welcome to the site

There should be nothing restricting it. Pull the door skin off and watch the glass move up and down and see what the issue is

Thanks for the help, I think I worded my question wrong. I am having trouble with the back window sliding glass not the rear door glass. And thats a sick truck you got.

Ah, I gotcha. So it is a powered sliding rear glass but it will not move on its own? But you can move it by hand? That correct?

If its a power window then it could be that something us wrong with the cable that pulls it open. Does it open normally with the switch?

I used to install glass for a glass shop, someone ran the window too far out and the cable isn't grabbing the gear now. You need a new window. It's a factory defect. I would go to a dealer and ask for the TSB, or ask them for a new window. I put in quite a few in the '07 and up. I think I installed aftermarket ones from pilkington and PGW for about $200. Your't might still be under warranty though. Dodge will replace them, but you have to really get after them.
