Default Skid plate and recovery hook install

Hi guys. Got a question for you DiY'ers.

I'm planning to order the Mopar skid plates (front suspension and transfer case) and recovery hooks for my Ram 1500. Are they easy to install, or should I just pay extra and have the parts guys install it for me?

Thanks

cant speak on the install part because my off road pack came with it, but I would look at aftermarket if there is any. The factory stuff is week on the skidplates but it should just be a few screws. I havent looked very hard. The front hooks look like it is just a few bolts. I would definately try it myself.

The hardest part of the recovery hooks is cutting out the plastic to look equal on both sides.

i think you suppose to remove the whole plastic part, cuz on the ones at the dealer, there is no plastic part where the hooks go, its all open
