Yeah, the turbo is under the truck, but above the frame. You can get a relocation kit for the filter, they may come with them now, but if not they are only around $35.

I have my filter located between the inside bed and the bed quarter panel about as high as the door handles. The turbo kit also comes with a water resistant sock that goes over the filter and lets in air, but not water/mud.

I take my truck hunting too, LOL!

 

that would be what worries me knowin my luck i would suck in all kinds of **** then be screwed.

 

Thinking about the STS kit also. Intake and exhaust would jump this 'base' HP gain a lot im sure. How much did you guys gain by going exhuast and intake?
