Default Brake problems

Less than a year ago I had my brakes changed at a local auto shop and i have had to bring my 04 ram 1500 back three times. the first time they put on ceramic brake pads and apparently the ceramic pads had shattered into pieces and that was my second trip back. once they saw the shattered pads, they said that i needed new calipers because mine were steel pistoned or something along those lines. they also resurfaced my rotors. so i paid for the new calipers and started to have the same problem of poorly performing brakes, and a sound of metal on metal. so i brought my truck back to them and after their inspection they said that i had a "glaze" spot on my rotors that was making the metal on metal noise. now yet again the brakes are performing poorly and making the noise. what should i do while the brakes are still under warranty. I don't want to have to pay for someone else to fix their mistakes. Any ideas what they may be doing wrong? Thanks for your time.
