Lightbulb 07 climate control and overhead console bulbs

After 1 year of tying to find the correct bulbs for illumination dodge could not give a p/n when the 1st bulb went out. They told me dealer has that info. Dealer said spend $215.00 for new control. Bulb In overhead console went out last month same thing but only $150.00 to replace that. So I tried getting help from dodge customer care what a waste of time. They called a dealer got the wrong p/n bulb is too long. When I called back Kathy got mad with me. Let's see they designed the truck they have all the specs in their system and their suppliers but she coudn't get off her @#@ to call another dept. told me it is the dealers problem when I called parts and said I need the p/n because dodge told me dealer would know more than dodge he thought it was funny, I didn't. Oh american business
I don't know.

2007 dodge ram slt
climate control illumination
T5 incandensent neo-wedge (11.9 mm base 12mm tall)

overhead console
Original bulb base measured 9 mm
purchased T4 incandensent neo-wedge (10.0 mm base 12mm tall)
t3 is too small

take a .245 dia or smaller router bit (like a dremmel) and open hole in circuit board do not use motor twist by hand you only need to open it about .008 on dia total just hold upside down for dust to fall out while you are doing this. Took about 1 minute to do all three holes just take your time and twist the bit cw going in and out so you do not tear contact area.
again there is no need to take that much out as the t4 almost fits in with out modification. 6 bulbs=$9.00 I bought 12 bulbs because of shipping cost.
these bulbs are from http://autolumination.com/74.htm mid way down
again they are not led when ordering order clear tybe B (t4) and clear tybe c (t5) The dealers and dodge should be telling you this not me, if it helps anyone else save $365.00-$20.00 for bulbs I did my job.

The housings have a blue film that makes a yellow bulb look green so you can get close to matching the stock color. I just don't want people thinking you have to go through all of this when there's such an easy solution

My purpose is to make it easy unless you have dodge p/n's for these bulbs the only hassle is the overhead because it is a strange bulb size. The lighting is not close to original is exact. Like i said the numbers dodge gave me were incorrect.
I could not find any links to this other than led. If you are a dodge employee do not get offended. Told by 4 dealers in the houston area to buy new controls.

Dealers will ALWAYS upsale you. When I needed a bearing cap, they told me I couldnt order just the cap and that the entire rear end would have to be replaced. Rule numbers one in life: Dealers LIE.

We have links like these you can always ask for

Thanks for the link. But the bulb p/n for climate control is the same as the dealer gave me which was a 1/4" taller than the original. I appreciate what you did showing the link.

yeah was getting a lot hotter on control face the ones i got from the web measured real close on height and face doesn't heat up as much. the ones i took out of the console were a sloppy fit that is why i thought they were t3's. i just opened holes about .01 and the t4's fit better than original.
the dealer never gave me a p/n for those pus the ones i bought on line were 1.49 each.
