Default who's running no cats

I was sold the wrong cat for the year of my truck so I tried to send it back but there was only a 90 day warr. and i have had the cat in my truck for 4 months I called magnaflow and they are the ones that said its for a different year 5.9. So now am having problems with the cat and am thinking of taking the cat out. who's running no cats ? do you have to do anything to the ECU?

Good luck running cat-less in Jersey... and yes, you'll need to "fool" the computer into thinking you are running cats...

my 1998 has no CAT and doesn't throw any codes, my 2002 has a gutted CAT and i had to install non-foulers to get the CEL light off.
