Flashing ABS means there is a fault in the module or a sensor.
I'd pull the ABS fuse out and drive it that way. The ABS light may be on steady, but it won't be flashing and there will never be any issue's in your brakes failing at low speeds.
Ofcourse you could try to replace the sensor located on the upper part of the rear differential.(tone ring sensor) That may or may not help??

That sensor on the left wheel hub is for your cruise control.

No, my 04 only has rear abs, that sensor on the front left hub is for your cruise control. Now if you have a sensor on the right wheel hub, then you have front abs.

The truck is a 2002 Ram with no abs speed sensor on the front wheel, but the wiring harness is 04' and has a plug for one..Sense I don't have anything to plug it into, my cruise don't work and ABS light blinks..I will do some research and try to figure out a way to get it to read the rear wheel sensor..If that don't work I'll have to buy the 04' hub and wheel sensor and install it..The problem is money, It's Tax time , Bill time, and not payday..

The speed sensor on the left is the missing link of my cruise control. I already did the new cruise buttons and wired everything to pcm. I still don't care for cruise, but if my left wheel bearing starts to go, maybe I'll hook it up.

Unless you live in an area that has good icy, snowy winters, ABS is overrated. I have never used ABS anywhere other than Alaska, not even when it rained here in Texas. Cruise...IMO, is just plain laziness. Plus it takes the fun from driving away.

I take a lot of trips from S.C. to Florida. Cruise control keeps me out of trouble..If I depend on my judgement and I'm not keeping a close eye on my speedometer , "I'm Speeding". It's to easy to do 80+ in my Ram and not even know it.. If I set the Cruise , I can hit the highway ~Set it at 74 mph in a 70 Zone , and not worry about doing 80+ mph when I'm not paying attention ..Cruise control has saved my a$$ a TON of money , and if I can get it to work on my Ram , I'll be one happy camper..

Have you checked your clockspring. I have read that they can break and ruin your cruise.

No~ I'm pretty sure the cruise don't work because I don't have a speed sensor on my left front wheel. There's a plug for it on my wiring harness , But I can't plug it into anything..I think I'm going to have to buy a speed sensor and a new hub ..

My 03 4.7 only has rear ABS. From what I am understand so far, I should get a PCM from an 03 Hemi with rear ABS as well. Did they come with rear ABS only or 4-wheel ABS?

WhiteRam~ Thank you for serving our Country..I for one appreciate it. The Viet~Nam Vets didn't get the appreciation they deserved when they returned home , so every time I see someone with a Viet~Nam Shirt or hat on , I ask "Did you fight in Nam"? If he says yes , I thank him and shake his hand..I have a lot of respect for those guys..Or anyone who fights in a War , no matter how senseless ..

NOW~ For the question. If you use a 2003 ECM+TCM and wiring harness I don't think you'll have to worry about the front wheel speed sensor. I don't think 03's have 4 wheel ABS..BUT you might have to do the same thing I'm doing to get the cruise to work..4.7's have a vacuum type cruise control that works the throttle cable. Since a 5.7 has electronic throttle the cruise is also electronic...
