Window lock button??

Another question from a newb... I recently bought a 2004 RAM 2500 with the Laramie package. Discovered today that although I can control all of the windows from the driver window controls, none of them work from their actual doors. It's like the Window Lock button is stuck in the off mode. I tried it a few times, no luck. Is this a common problem? Any suggestion on how to fix it? I took the driver button cluster out today to look at it. Looks like a single all-in-one unit (which make it difficult to diagnose or clean), but it appeared to be in OK condition...

Just do a search its a big problem with these trucks and theres a few write ups out there.

Gonna have to tear apart the switch any ways but its either the problem in the write up link above or broken solder points right in front on the windows lock switch. So just re-solder those two joints and should be good to go.

If you don't mind not having the window lock feature then you can completely wire that switch out were you will never have the problem again. You take the switch box out and there are two plugs into it. Take the big brown wire from one plug and a big yellow wire from the other and splice the together.
Let me know if you are interested and I will explain it better, its also and easier job.
