What engine do you have in your 2003? sounds like you may not be getting fuel to the rails. You will need a pressure gauge to determine if you are getting fuel ut there, or push on the test port and see if gas sprays out at you, don't get it in your eyes lol.

 

Ok when i dump fuel into the throttle body it trys to run ..... must be fuel pump ? any thoughts ? and there is no fuel pressure on the rails .

 

Check the fuse and relay for the fuel pump before shooting it down

 

Yes i plan to do that first thing in the morning . Wounder where i can get a good deal on a new fuel pump in canada, if needed ?

 

No pressure will be on the fuel rails unless the pump is running. Dont expect the system to stay pressurized with the engine off. That would be dangerous. If you flip the key to the ON position, do you hear the pump turn on and run for a few seconds before the ASD (Auto Shutdown) relay kicks it off?

 

any Canadian tire will have the pump or UAP Napa, or bumper to Bumper. Where in Canada are you at?

 

thanks prblem fixed , added gas !! sending unit was stuck . Sometimes its the simplest things . The truck has gained a noticable 1mpg better gas mileage with the new bank 1 O2 sensor installed !

 

So you thought you had gas when you really didnt huh? Nice!! Glad it was simple.
