Default 03 ram showing P 0131

My 2003 ram started skipping all of a sudden today and now will barely run , it threw a code ( P0131 ) low voltage/02 sensor .... i'm guessing my 02 sensor on bank 1 is bad , does anyone know how i can test it before spending the $$ for a new one ?

Nothing yet , thought i was dealing with a bad o2 sensor but replaced it and still won't start .... the code says low voltage bank1 oxygen sensor ... now i have to start trouble shooting ...i have no idea about this engine , different animal than my 96 360 . I don't even know howwto test for fire on this 4.7 l .
The truck tries to kick when i roll it over but just coughs and fails to start ... smell of fuel so i'm thinking it may be fire issue know.

Yes the one downstream got a reading on my voltmeter when i did the torch test ....the one upstream did not , this is the one i replaced ... the p 0131 code was bank1 / low voltage . Now i have a P 0522 code only after clearing .... what would this have in common with p 0131 ...they both say low voltage .... any suggestions because i'm not getting anywhere with this.

A bad O2 might make it run rough but wont stop it from starting

sounds like some bad wiring to me, i would check the harness going down to the o2 sensor for any corrosion, fraying etc... Maybe unhook the battery and reset the pcm will help as well.
