Question Wheel bolt patterns 2003 Ram vs 2007 Ram

I currently own a 2003 Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4x4. I'm seriously considering a 2007 Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4x4. (only has 27K miles on it!) Both trucks have Hemis, if that makes a difference to the answer.

I have 2 sets of wheels for my current truck. My 20" with the summer tires, and a set of 17" with some aggressive winter tires. (We average 80"+ of snow per year here).

I would like to keep the 17" wheels with the snows for my newer truck, but nobody seems to be able to answer if they have the same bolt pattern.

I went to one wheel place and he said "no...they won't work, you'll have to get new ones".

A Dodge dealer technician said "Best way to find out...try them on the new truck!"

But, I don't own the new truck yet and I can't imagine they would allow me to jack up their 2007 truck and try on new wheels.

Does ANYONE know if the bolt patterns/size on the 2 trucks are the same? Maybe I'm naive but it seems like this should be a specification that could be looked up!

Thank you for your help!!!!

ya they will fit, only difference between a 03 and 07 is the front suspension, if the wheels are close to stock 33x10.5 (265/60R20) they will fit.

what are the exact size of the to sets of tires you have?

As long as they are both 1500's too. the 2500/3500's are 8 lug wheels.
