Dodge's website can provide some info, but I'd guess somewhere around 7,200 lbs. GVWR isn't what you want to use. Rather, use GCWR. That's probably about 14,000 lbs (truck, trailer, contents, people - everything).

'bout 1200 pounds - without any occupants or cargo in the cab.

Take a look at this:

I have the same basic truck and pull a 6500lbs (with water/propane...) camp trailer without any issues. I have an equalizer hitch and electric brakes to go along with it.

I am think the payload capacity is only 1300lb on the quad cab 4x4. You would really need to know the weight of your truck. Subtract the weight that would be in the truck. The remaining payload can be used for for the tongue weight of the trailer. Multiple this by 8 and this close to your max trailer weight. This assumes 12.5% tongue weight. So if you have 600 lbs of passengers in the truck then (1300-600) * 8 = 5600lb. I am assuming you have the 5.7 HEMI. Does not matter much which gears. If you were pulling a light tongue boat then gearing would matter more.
