Best Way to lift a 2wd? Here it is....
At first, all I wanted was the 3" spindles in the front and no more. But then I found out that the rear can be raised with nothing more than the 2nd gen shackles. Of course raising the rear would make the truck unleveled again. This necessitates the front spacer and shocks. So I get the more aggressive look of an all-around taller truck, and it's really cheap too. I haven't read of any downsides so far...do you know something I do not?? I know 5" in the front MAY require new brake lines if the reversed lines are still stretched, but 2" in the rear shouldn't stretch anything (including shocks). If new shocks ARE required in the rear (and anyone chime in if they are please, I want to have EVERYTHING prepared when I start jacking up my truck so that I can complete the whole project at once and be done with it), I will just purchase another pair of the ES9000 for the rear as well. I always feel like there's something I'm missing, don't make me paranoid! LoL
+1 on that
Our trucks plow into corners to begin with. I can't imagine adding a taller front end AND more body roll to that equation!

And if you read the whole thread, you would see that the whole point of the thread is working with the company to make sure the spindles end up working right.
I went ahead and installed the spindles Friday night. They bolted up just fine. Arkansas Premire is the shop that installed it and all the guy had to do was remove the sway bar (if you don't want to go that route mine would have needed some minor grinding to the spindle to clear it.. I just chose to remove the sway bar and see how I liked it before I had them bust out the grinder) and he fabricated a bracket for my brake line. I have 35 1250 18 Mud Grapplers on XD Addict wheels and with these spindles and my McBay 3" coil spacers I still had them trim the inner fender well and relocate my wiring harness. Then I had them put on my blocks in the back and it leveled out real nice. I know there has been some talk about allignment issues, well I took mine to Sears and they were able to get it alligned. (they did say I was about maxed out though) Tom from Chassis Tech's ebay segment recomends lower control arms for a proper allignment, but I'm going to take advantage of Sears 6000 mile warrenty and see how it goes before I bust out some more money. Very happy with the assitance from this company and love the product. You will be very surprised how heavy these spindles are. I'd say twice as heavy as the stock spindles.
