Wheel bearing question
I have an 06 Ram 1500. Both front wheel bearings went out (I found out when I went to get an alignment and they wouldn't do it).
My question is.. When looking for replacements I was asked if I had 2 wheel ABS or 4 wheel ABS. I told them that I only have a sensor on the driver's side front wheel. They told me I have 2 wheel ABS.
Now.. when I got my wheel bearings (2 wheel ABS version) neither one has a spot for a sensor in it.. Does this seem right? I haven't looked closely at my drivers side wheel yet, but I'm sure that the sensor goes in the hub.
Do I need to get another new hub?
Thanks
Sam

I just has the same issue, the driverside has the sensor and the passenger side does not have the sensor you need to order the one for the 4wheel abs, I found mine online for $88 plus I had them overnighted, I wa wheeland hub warehouse.com
I just had to replace both of mine in the last week. Neither one of mine had a sensor, both sides were the same $105 each from advance and 20 min and i was back on the road. If it has a sensor then yes you will have to order 1 4wheel abs otherwise they are both the same.
I know my drivers side has an ABS sensor but my pass side does not. So you need to get out there and look at yours and see exactly what you need and order from there. You can buy then new and shipped on Ebay for around $100 or less
