HELP!!!! truck turns over won't start
I have a 2002 4.7 ram. My problem is wierd all of the lights on the dash work, but none of the gauges move (volt,gas- i know i have a 1/2 tank, oil, temp). If i plug my programmer in it will not communicate thru the OBD2. NO codes pop up. The motor turns over, I have checked all my fuses (all ok) everything in the truck seems to work except for the over head display. The display turns on but no DTE the run time and trip works. i'm at a loss really don't want to send it to dealer. I think it's the PCM/ECU but I don't want to buy a new one and it not be the problem. ANY help would be great thanks.
Welcome to the site. Can you give us some history? Ever had anything else weird happen in the past that may be related? How long have you had the truck? Did it work fine one day and then the next this happened?
My first though it PCM because of no ODB connection to the tuner but that also could just be a bad wire or no power to the ODB port for the tuner to power up on.
You could try downloading a service manual from the links in my signature to maybe help you out some.

I purchased the truck new. The pcm was replaced about a year and half of so due to other issues (memory thing). But since the change the truck has ran great. I did run through some water a week before no big deal. The truck ran great the day before. As for the programmer it powers up and sees the trucks VIN but can't read anything. I doesn't see the IGN when i turn on the key. THANKS
Do you hear the fuel pump when you turn the key to on? I wonder if your ignition switch is bad? This may be of some help:

PM me if you end up needing a pcm. I was planning to put a 2002 4.7 pcm up for sale sometime soon with all of my other left over 4.7 parts.
