Noise when going up hill

So I tested out my theory and it seems to be the case.
When I'm going up hill and just cruise, it will shift into third and at the low rps 1-1.5k it will make the noise.
At first I thought it was coming from the back of the truck by now the g/f thinks its coming from the front.
With that being said, I've put it into "Tow" and it doesn't seem to make the sound then.
