Default Anyone tackled a 6 spd conversion on a quad cab Hemi?

I know that anything can be done with enough money and time. My question is, has anyone ever tackled a 6 spd conversion on a quad cab Hemi? If anyone knows if it's doable, how long, expensive, and what kind of trans would one hook up to the motor?

over on dodge talk, we did some research and speculating on this project. PoisonHeart just about pulled the trigger on this, but had to bow out. Naturally, you can use the T56 from a RAM SRT10, or the newer Tremec (TKO 60, I think?) tranny. Take a look here: http://www.burnsvilleoffroad.com/ they carry some adapters that you might need.

Either a t56, tr6060 or whatever the HD tranny is, it'd be awesome.

You can get a 2500 with a hemi and a stickshift, guessing you'd need the transfercase too - this leads to custom driveshafts, crossmembers, etc. You'll need a parts truck.

You'd still need a pcm and wiring harness

Yeah mine is 2WD. I'd like to build my rear end up and drop a stick shift in but alas it'll be down the road. When I hit the mega millions it'll definately be on like Donkey Kong!

Yea I think the Wiring harness could be easy to find in a wrecked work truck but I dunno if you need a PCM?
