Fabtech Shock Bottoming Out?
I've been hearing some front end snapping noises for a while now, especially when I have a high centripetal force while turning to the right. I also have been getting tire rub noises when I didn't use to. I figured this had to do with the shocks gradually depressing slightly, but I found something else out when I jacked the truck up to grease the shocks!
Check this photo out. You can see from where grease ISN'T on the shock that the rubber stopper has been impacting the shock even when driving on streets only!
Do you think my coils are shot or do I need new shocks? And should Fabtech have a warranty with their lift on this?
Just so you all know, I'm driving a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500, HEMI, 4x4, with a 6" Fabtech kit (not with the Bilstein shocks), 35" tires

I think im having somewhat of the same problem. My (fabtech) shocks are topping out i believe they ride horribile. Whats an accurate way of measuring my travel and ordering some different shocks? And who deals in custom length shocks. i have a 6" fabtech kit (also a 3" body which shoudlnt matter)?? any help would be great
I've been offroading a bit, but it's not like she's been in the air or anything. Ok so I just called Fabtech and I apparently have stock shocks on this. So Fabtech doesn't have a warranty on them, but it would've been better for me to pay for Bilstein shocks.
