I have recently purchased an 06 Ram 1500 Mega Cab 4x4 with the 5.7 Hemi. Ran fine during test drive but acted up on the drive home. Once it warms up rough idle and has died 4 times. I have cleaned the throttle body, oil cap, pvc valve. It does not have an EGR valve, has a block off plate. I have reset the pcm with no luck. I have tried pulling the codes off of the odometer but all it said is done but CEL is on. Any suggestions would be great.

 

You need to scan it with a real scanner to get the codes. You can try a local AutoZone. They will scan it for free. Post the codes here for the correct diagnosis.

We ran the code and they were p0300, p0032, and p1128. First one is random miss fire, second was bank 1 sensor 1 O2, last one was sensor swap. Found a wire pulled out of the back of one of the O2 sensor plugs. Now the only code I am getting is bank 1 sensor 1 fault, but the idle is only reading 200 RPM on the tach. Might need some help here. Thanks
