Default EVIC Light Switch

Hey All, Was wondering if anyone repaired the switch that turns on the individual lamps on the EVIC. I got pissed at one of them as I was trying to do something and the light kept timing out after like 10 seconds, and I kept turning it back on, and finally it got to me and I pushed it really fast and hard and shoved the spring and contact and such through and it no longer worked. I pulled it apart and put the pieces back in, in the logical order and it didn't work, so I took the other one apart that WAS working just fine, to see how it was supposed to go together, and as usual, I was right, so I put that one back together and now it won't work either. It appears that the issue is that the mechanism isn't twisting when pressed upwards...its supposed to go up and twist to make contact, then twist again to remove contact...it looks a lot like those clickster pens.

Thank You in Advance,
Eric

Ok, I guess I called them wrong...After hours of trying to find a solution, I finally found that they are called map lights...and I found a thread here about the 2nd (and a half?) gen Rams that sounds like a similar issue, and the same method I used to fix mine, but sounds like they had a lot more luck than I did cuz mine isn't twisting to make the contact

Ok, I figured it out...I had the spring (and piece inserted in spring) upside down...its weird how you can look away from something that you can't figure out, then go back to it and the solution is clear as day...I am posting a pic so hopefully iy may help someone some time, since the pieces like to fall out and get mixed up, so there is a reference to put it back together, correctly
