Default center console power port

Howdy all, I am new to the forums. I have been a long time dodge truck owner and just currently picked up a newer 2008 Ram. It has a dummy plug inside the center console, apparently the 12volt plug was an option the original owner didn't opt for. My question is, does anyone know if there would be any factory wiring under the seats that I could put an after market plug in its place or will I have to run all new wiring from the fuse block? Appreciate any input or ideas. Thanks

@ Bloodstain - Some trucks are pre-wired and some are not. Only way to know for sure is to look under the seat or under the console. I know a guy who can get you the OEM posts though if you want one.

@ Tazmann910 - We have a GA get-together coming up on May the 7th in Macon if you are interested. Youre more than welcome to come.

Mine has a 20amp outlet in the flip up console. I figured they all did.
