My 05 would almost stall randomly only when coming to a stop, rpms dropped below 400 but snapped back to 600/700 quickly. I added trans fluid even though it was is in range on the dipstick. I put enough in to be at very max hot level, might be a tick over. Stopped doing the random almost stalls

i knew to do this cause my 02 dakota would randomly stall at stops, did the whole dealer thing to no fix. Added trans fluid and never did it again for the next 10 years.

not saying it will fix your issue but its cheap to look into.
