Default 03 hemi rusted oil pan

Tried doing a search but no luck. Pan is getting pretty rusty with a little oil film. Could be from the plug but I'm going to replace it anyhow. Anybody have this happen and how hard is it to change? Where should I get a new one beside the stealer?
Thanks

No idea where else you could get an oil pan, it's pretty hard to find any aftermarket engine support for these trucks.
You'll need to unbolt the engine mounts and raise the engine, remove the dust cover on the tranny, and pull off all the bolts. Make sure to get a new gasket as well.
Careful not to jack it up too high and rip something off

So, If it's not rusted thru, why not remove it, have it sandblasted, epoxy primer(Dupont DP 90), paint(Flat black Rustoleum), and get a new drain plug, reinstall good as new? Mine's had surface rust on it since it was a year old, no leaks, though. Only oil residue from whatever is hanging on it after oil changes being blown around by the breeze from driving.

Take a wire brush and scuff the rusty area's to see if there are any actual holes. If not, primer and paint. Much easier than swapping pans!!

I would say just by looking it's more than surface rust. I think I will make sure I have another one available before I try wire brushing it. I thought maybe I could find one somewhere other than the stealer. I also was wondering how much work to change one. That has been answered and doesn't sound like to bad of a job.

It is possible for it to be rusted thru, but unlikely. I have had some really bad ones that shale off peices of rust, but never had a hole thru one. My 84 350 has been a WI truck forever, likely never washed, and driven in the salt every winter. Bad rust on pan, but no holes yet. My 05 ram has very large bubbles of rust forming all over especially on the front and bottom, looks much worse than it really is. Have you tried NAPA or Carquest. Anyway-Rock auto has one remaining AS OF THIS POST part number crp34a Spectra premium $103.89 gasket not included.

You can get a replacement oil pan from the dealer for not much. You can use the Parts Catalogs in my sig links to get the part number and find one online or just call the dealer. Last time i looked one up they didnt cost much.

I bought one from the dealer, I think it was $70. It was the cheapest I could find...even cheaper than ebay at the time.
