Default O/E Dash components

The temperature control **** on the A/C vanished...And the CD player sounds like it's eating glass and will only functions correctly 30% of the time. Are these dealer only items or is there an aftermarket source? Personally I'd like an aftermarket stereo for improved sound quality but I just don't like the looks of the ones I see at car audio retailers. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. If it helps, i have a 2005 RAM q/c 4x4

Thanks
GLC

There are no part numbers on replacement ***** for the AC controls. You are going to have to go by a junk yard and swipe one or buy a whole unit.

As for the head unit, you already know it needs to be replaced. The question is are you going to try to find another OEM or go with a single DIN or a double DIN head unit. I can modify the bezel for your truck to fit a double DIN if you like those better and want to go that route.

Weed,

Thanks for the information. I suppose I need to do a little more research as to what unit I'd like to install. Not trying to turn this into a long drawn out q/a session but are there any brands which might work best with my vehicle or is it simply matter of preference and budget?

www.mopar.com for OEM radios. I bought my factory 6disc radio on eBay.
