Question - Torque clearing code...
Ok, I am very new to torque, and I did search the forums... I loaded torque (droid 2) got the thing talking to my xitech bluetooth OBDII reader (cool by the way), and my truck is throwing code C1600. It (torque) has no clue what C1600 is, and I googled it, and best I can recollect, is o2, but I think that is p16xx.
I just had the 2 downstream O2 sensors replaced, and replaced the 2 upstream (have to verify that with the paperwork, as I didnt' do the work) the year before.
Anyone have a clue?
Why can I not clear the code using the app (I go to the more portion, select clear logged faults)... I should at least be able to do that no?
I am not trying to skirt inspection or anything (am up to date until 12/2011), but I really don't know that I am doing this right.

We cant answer why that app will not clear the code. Thats something you need to bring to the attention of the developer.
Never will a free generic ODB app work as well as one that is specifically designed for a specific vehicle in mind.
take your truck to a local auto parts store and let them scan the truck for DTC codes and post them here.
I have Torque with my Droid X but it is a toy and something to show off to friends. Done expect a generic and cheap app to work like something more professional

Ok, got a proper scan tool running off the xitech, from my laptop's bluetooth... the code it reads is P440 and P456.
P440 is evap, P456 seems to be gas cap. AS you can imagine, gas cap fine... so next is the solenoid? I am still very much a newbie here (I am trying to save $$$), figure it is a leaking hose or bad solenoid... where should I look for the canister/solenoid... I know stupid question, again, very green here.
