Default Rear End Identification

ok so i emailed dodge and they sent me my build sheet. for the rear end they list the following DMH 3.92 rear axle ratio, DRBS Corporate 9.25 LD rear axle, DSA anti-spin diff rear axle. so when i change the oil do i need friction modifier? also if i were to upgarde to a detroit true trac which one would fit my truck? thanks mike

Yes on the modifier, unless you use something like Amsoil or Royal Purple, those tell you to leave it out as they have it built in.

For the after market limited slip, here's some options:

Anything that says for the 9.25 rear. The 2500/3500 have a 9.25 front, so you don't want that. The 1500 has 8" front (205mm) in the 4wd's, and I don't think anyone makes anything other than gears for it.

The "anti-spin" means clutch type limited slip so friction modifier is needed.
