Default Rancho RS5000 Series Shock - Torque?

Gorancho site down for maintenance, found tech support number. The guy I spoke with stated that there is not a torque setting for the upper nut on the bushings & retainer. He said to just tighten it down until the bushings spread out even with the edge of the retaining washer.

Just wanted to post this as that just sounds strange to me that there isn't a specific torque setting. Any input?

I've probably put about ten sets of shocks on in my life and I have yet to use a torque wrench. I've always just tightened till they were good and snug. Have had one shock to date be loose on me and that was in my Grand Cherokee about 12,000 miles after I put it on, guess I just didn't snug that one good enough, LOL...
