The other day when i changed my rear differential i noticed where my drive shaft and tranny meet its wet/moist. is this normal? its not leaking and i have normal fluid level. so is the seal going to need to be looked at or replaced? if so whats the about cost if i take it to a shop?

It should be dry. The seal is easy to replace. Should be covered under the lifetime powertrain warranty if you are the original owner.
