Overhead compass not working.
Well since we resolved the no backlights behind the CC switches on the steering wheel, I have another question to ask.
My compass quit operating a few weeks ago. It showed that I was heading east all of the time no matter which direction that I was traveling.
So, I broke out the owners manual to see if there was anything that I could do to get it working again.
I did a manual calibration and it never would calibrate. I drove in circles in an open parking lot till I figured someone watching might think that I was drunk or on drugs.
The compass has stayed in the Cal mode since (several weeks). Every once in a while it will say that I am heading East while in fact, I know that I am not heading east. Even when it does this, Cal mode is still on the overhead screen.
Any ideas? Sensor maybe? If the sensor, where the heck is it at?

My 300C did that for a week or so, then straightened itself out. When I changed the O/H console on the Ram to gain HomeLink, it took a day or so for the compass to align (as well as the ambient temperature reading). I hear ya 'bout driving in circles in a parking lot,
