But it's about as played out as RockStars. Around here, you wanna make a certain kind of purchase, hunt out the pickup or SUV with the Hummer wheels, LOL...

Haha! I forgot about that post you sent. What do you think they use to bore out the hub?

For aluminum, I'd say all you really would need is a router and a rabbet bit...

Now if you wanted something different and cool, check out Trailworthyfab.com

They have military surplus Humvee tires and rims. They'll put on custom backspacing, weld on rock rings, and all sorts of cool stuff. 37" tires for dirt cheap too. The caveat is 16.5" rims, but with DOT approved beadlocks that isn't an issue

Ok, one more question. What is the diameter of a H2 hub and that of a Dodge 2500? Trying to figure out how much I need to take off.

I took mine to a local machine shop and had them turned. They charged me $15 a rim.

Probably because they come with 34.5" tires and are selling as packages for the same price as if you were to buy 35's alone or even cheaper...AND alot of them have those super expensive BF Goodrich A/T tread on them
