What is the best thing to do if your c clips broke

pull the out 9r what parts you can, clean the bottom of the case and put it all back together with synthetic oil and LSD friction modifier.

They are only used to hold the clutch packs together during assembly.

What he said but inspect your gears very closely for damage!
If you must have an LSD, drop in a DTT or Aurburn while you have everything apart.
