Can anyone tell me how low of a t-stat temp can u go or is recommended?
Also, what is a good brand to get? thanks. Looking to swap out of my 2006 hemi ram

 

Stock thermostat is 195* and I would suggest replacing it with the same UNLESS you have some mods that would dictate a change to a cooler thermostat. 180* is the lowest I would go or you can have problems with temp sensors and oil issues like condensation and sludging...

As for the brand, most are fine. I'd try to use a stainless one as they tend to last longer. Personally, I use a Jet, they are on the high side of the price range, but are stainless and have a lifetime warranty...
