So, pull into driveway place it in park and 3-5sec later the a/c compressor cycles on. A/C indicator light turns on as well. All switches are in the off position. Turn switches to different positions nothing happens, no fan, no blend door changes, no temp changes. In order to stop the symptoms vehicle must be turned off. Restart and all is back to normal. Has happened three times in past four months.

Any ideas? PCM?

And some history. When did it start? Did you guy this truck new? Ect.

 

Info in garage...2002 QC 4x4 4.7 76k mi ... Has only done this 3 x's in past 4 months ... Was my fathers weekend/hunting truck, bought Nov 2001. I bought from him in Aug of 2010 (72k) when he replaced it with a 2010 F150.

Truck has been well taken care of, any time service/repairs are needed it's done.
