Default mopar coolant question

ok, I have to replace my radiator
when to dealer to buy there coolant, as I have heard stories about how a 5.7 hemi has to use there coolant that says, HOAT on it

I go there and they only carry 2 types of coolant, one that is 3yr, and one that is for 5 yr 100,000 mile stuff
BUT no where does it say HOAT on it

the dealer, and the service manager say I have to use the 5yr 100,000 stuff
ask why it doesn't say HOAT on it
and they don't know, but its what they use on there trucks

Am I getting the right stuff, or is this dealer selling just what he has??
thanks

well tough to say.. but I've looked online and another code for the HOAT is G-05 formula design.. linky link here

http://www.drillspot.com/products/35...freeze_Coolant

if it doesn't say G-05 or HOAT i'd be skeptical... dealers aren't known for being intelligent

Autoparts stores that carry Zerex will have the g05/hoat. But it is still a bit pricey.

If yuo want the HOAT then you will have to go to the dealership and not the local auto parts stores. I flushed mine and use Prestone when I put coolant back in.

Napa carries Zerex G-05 which is a HOAT coolant. Around here it is $13 or so a gallon of the straight stuff.

yes I know about the differences
my question is that the stuff my local dodge dealer ONLy had was stuff for 3 yz -36,000 miles or stuff for 5 yr -100,000 miles
and neither one says HOAT any where on it!
the dealer said thats all they have

Question is is the 5 yr 100,000 mile stuff the HOAT stuff??? or what?

I had the system flushed 18 months ago, and all new coolant installed at the dealer
but now I have radiator going bad
so I want to just replace the rad, and then refill with the same HOAT from Dodge

thus I bought the 5yr/100,000 mile dealer coolant

want to know if its the right stuff

as once again, the dealer wasn't much help
just said thats all they have
NOT its the right stuff!

so is this stuff what I need?

The Zerex G-05 I purchased from Oreilley states right on the bottle, 5yr/150,000mi and also made to meet or exceed HOAT/G-05 requirements.

I ran into same prob with my local dealership, which is why i went with Zerex.
