Default 04' rcsb 4.7 help

i bought my first ram a few months back when my 88' burb blew up on my way home for xmas leave. right now it has Tint, Custom sound system and cowl hood. since i bought it i lifted it back to stock height and put a 2 1/2in day star leveling kit on it and debadged it. ive bee tooling around with the idea of using black as my secondary color instead of chrome(i hate chrome) or should i just stay with chrome? what would be the best route for the rims, bumper and grille? i live in cen-Tex so the winters are not all that bad here. also when i took of the djm lowering kit, which now resides in my truck bed, i left the adjustable shackles on it, i could not find a stock set and didnt want to go to the stealership. my problem now is that the back end rides rough. my only thought is that the sensitrack shocks on the back do not have enough travel. could i be correct in this assumption? I replaced the rear shocks when I bought it (lowered). ive got all the stuff to make a cai. and i want to give the truck a little more oomph. its a little soggy from what im used to. my burb had a 383 stroker in it. i feel a little bit silly with that cowl hood on it and no umph... any advice or input would be greatly appreciated

cheers,
Sam

You will want to read through our FAQs, How To's and DIYs at the top of this section or the link in my sig to get some ideas on what you might want to do. My first thoughts for an 04 4.7 is to get some HO cams, a CAI and an 08 intake. Obviously, gears will make it jump off the line better.

As for the stock shackles, I have a pair of OEMs that I took off of mine a long time ago when i lifted it. If you are interested in the then shoot me a PM.
