Default 37's vs stock height

Alright So i have 22x10 eagles with -21 offset with 37s x 13.50

Question is will a 6inch fabtech lift kit work? what are my options i want to be able to lift it just enough so it wont rub, where it rubs is on the front fender by the door

they stick out from the fender a good 3-4 inches when mounted

What year is the truck? 4x4 or 4x2?

EVERYBODY I know with the Fabtech IFS kit on torsion front 4x4s is having issues with 37s and snapping CV axles. It's a bargain basement kit and puts the CVs at bad angles. The so called 6" kit is more like 4.5-5" and requires you to get the rest of the 6" by cranking up the key bolts. VERY bad on CVs as well as a lot of other front end components. The kit does not come with bigger beefier parts like tie rod ends that hold up better to bigger tires.

Even know a LOT of guys just running 35s and have gone thru multiple CVs.

I'm not hearing it as much from coil over front end guys with Fabtech kits.

If you've got a SFA truck (2500/3500), nevermind. The solid front axle can take 37s without much issue...

I saw 8 bolts, you're good to go axle wise. 6" lift should fit 37's with ease. Careful of the cops with tires that stick out that far, that's asking for a ticket. I'd build some BF mudflaps or get some really wide flares.
Doesn't hurt to carry around a 'work order' from a shop. If the cops ask, you have an appointment booked for fender flares

Good eyes - wait till you get to be my age!!!

Yeah, EVERY state has a law on the books for tires sticking outside the fenders, some states or even locales decide to enforce it, others can give a rat's a$$.

If they ticketed for it in my redneck area of Georgia, they'd have to write up about 80% of the trucks on the road, LOL...

On a mac you can zoom in, I'm blind already! lol

It differs a lot where I am, I see a lot of guys with tires sticking way out, but if you're a teenager you can get a ticket for no mudflaps on a stock rig with A/T's.
If you're not an *** to the cop you could probably get off with a warning once

yeah shes a 2500 4x4, what kit should i go with best bang for the buck i would like a true 6inch kit, i have heard they call some kits 6 and 8 but aren't a true 6 or 8.

the rim's have a -20 offset so when i mounted them to get an idea of how much i will rub, i got almost a half of a fully crank and the middle of the tire was hitting the out side of the wheel well down by the mudflap. Not even close so i do think it should be a true 6inch kit. so if anyone has any ideas for me pls share thanks alot guys.

wicked forum btw.

Rancho makes good overbuilt kits, they're the best if you have the money. All the other big names aren't too bad, never heard terrible reviews about any of them
