Transmission not working at all.
had the same problem when i got my trans flushed and filters done. we called the filter manufacture and they said you have to push the filter seal/rubber grommet up in the hole first then screw the filter on. if you put the seal on the filter and then screw it on it causes the seal to deflect and cause the fluid to drain out of the converter
Still haven't got to it yet. I thinks its slipping, and when you start it first thing in the morning and shift into drive, it takes about 15-20 seconds for it to engage. Does this after sitting for around 8 hrs.
I have a warranty, I have my reciepts for the filter and trans fluid, so I am going to wait for total failure. When they are rebuilding it, throw a valvebody and 'verter in it before it goes back together.
Truck is a SC SB Hemi Sport with a Limited slip and a 3.92 from the factory. 66,660 miles. Did the oil, filters, trans and dif fluids at 62,000 and the plugs and wires at 64,000.

Truck was bought used from a Chevy dealer. Warranty is aftermarket with no requirement for OEM Dodge parts.
The filter was bought from O'Riely's and has a limited lifetime warranty. Trans fluid was bought there too.
Install was done by a Master ASE certified mechanic, and the diagnosis will be done by same mechanic.
If the trans fails, and its determined the faulty filter caused the failure, O'Riely is on the hook for damages.

I don't think I should have to pay for a new Filter or fluid, as I didn't manufacture a bunk filter. O'Riely did.
They will blame the mechanic, he'll blame the parts you provided, you'll have no truck, the fight will go round and round.
The seal ring around the flat filter needs to be properly seated in the valve body and can cause this 'slippage' if it is not. Easy fix, not a filter issue but an install issue.
It's not an install issue. filter seal was completely seated. There is a major issue going on with aftermarket parts suppliers selling defective filters. O'Riely is well aware of it from the info I was told by the rep. I spoke with.
I need to bring the filter back to the store, and I will recieve a refund, however I am still waiting to hear about compensation for the fluid.
Once I have confirmation on fliud, I am going to rip her down, swap out the valvebody with a modified unit and replace the 'verter.

this might be something worth trying. i just got off the phone with the shop that did my flush and filters and after having the filters done again and still having the same problem they called a few trans shops and several stated that for some reason after a flush there is a check valve in the cooler return line that malfunctions. the only bad thing is you have to get it from dodge as it is made in the line so i'm gonna drop my truck off thursday and see how that works.
I've never trust flushing the tranny, personally. I'd rather drop the pan, get out what comes and top it off with as much fresh fluid as it takes to bring it back up to full. I'd rather do that 4x as often as a complete flush and fluid change myself.
Yeah, you're mixing nice new fluid with old, but each time you do it you are making the fluid more new than old.
There have always been horror stories about perfectly happy transmissions being f*cked after a flush, be it Ford, Chevy or whatever brand vehicle...
